The Train That Couldn't Slow Down

An Interactive Tale of Ecological Disaster and Revolution

------------------------------------------------------------

You are a second class passenger on a moving train. The train is headed towards a precipice. However, it does not seem to be slowing down.

You do not want the passengers to die.

The only way to avoid the disaster is reaching the engine and pulling the emergency brake. Time is running out.

------------------------------------------------------------

“Marx says that revolutions are the locomotive of world history. But perhaps it is quite otherwise. Perhaps revolutions are an attempt by the passengers on the train—namely, the human race—to activate the emergency brake.”

— Walter Benjamin, Paralipomena to 'On the Concept of History'
